　　YouOughtaKnow是加拿大在上个世纪九十年代中期涌现出的一名女子摇滚乐的超级明星AlanisMorissette的单曲。AlanisMorissette至今仍然是加拿大女歌手中最具有象征意义的代表人物之一。

　　AlanisMorissette自幼星光一片坦途，但是多才的她一直以来都在不断的寻求突破，多次转型，并且每次都非常成功，并在音乐上最终成为最成功的摇滚女歌手之一。

　　同时，AlanisMorissette最为成功的专辑《JaggedLittlePill》则是一张具有重要意义的90年代女子摇滚乐标志性专辑，而她本人也获得多项加拿大最权威的音乐奖Juno奖，并且先后获得了七次格莱美奖。

　　1995年夏季，由于单曲“YouOughtaKnow”的强劲冲击，《JaggedLittlePill》引起了万众的瞩目。很快，这首单曲在MTV电视台和另类电台中被频频播放，专辑打进了排行榜前10名，并获得了多白金的销量。
